AN ORION-TEK APP
Vox Livre
Listen to your books, intelligently. Vox Livre reads your whole document, understands its story and its characters, then tells it to you — one voice per character, in the language of your choice.
What is Vox Livre?
An Android app that turns a document into an audiobook, a podcast or a revision session.
You import a book, a course or an article. Vox Livre does more than read it aloud: it grasps its genre, its tone and its characters, then prepares each chapter — who is speaking, and with what emotion. The result sounds like a recorded audiobook, not like a text read out in a single flat voice.
How it works
Four steps, from the imported file to listening.
-
01
You import
An EPUB book, a PDF, a Word or PowerPoint document, a web page, a link, pasted text, or photos of pages. A scanned PDF is read page by page.
-
02
It reads the whole document
Before recording the first word, Vox Livre understands the document as a whole: its genre, its tone, its characters and the way each of them speaks. The price is shown before anything starts.
-
03
It casts the voices
One voice for the narrator and one for each character, with the emotions of the text: anger, whispering, suspense. Dialogue tags — "he said", "she whispered" — stay with the narrator.
-
04
You listen
In the background, screen off, on headphones or in the car, with the text scrolling and highlighting as it is read. You pick up where you left off.
What it makes of a document
One document, several ways to learn it.
A multi-voice audiobook
Chapter by chapter, with the pauses of a professional reader. The whole book can be gathered into a single file, chapters and cover included, for audiobook apps.
A translation
Listen to a book in another language, in the style you choose — faithful, literary or simple — with a glossary that keeps the same words from one chapter to the next. A bilingual version alternates the original and its translation, paragraph by paragraph.
Explanatory podcasts
Two hosts take the document apart over several episodes, and listeners call in with their questions. Three levels: easy, normal, expert.
An on-demand podcast
Give it a topic, a question or an article: Vox Livre researches it on the web, picks the tone, decides how many episodes and cites its sources on air.
A study mode
The essentials of each chapter in a few minutes, revision cards, a quiz, and questions asked to the document, in writing or by voice.
The news behind an article
A press article can be brought up to date: what has happened since it was published, dated and sourced, before turning it into a podcast.
Its study assistant is NEXIA
When you ask a document a question, it is the personality of NEXIA that answers.
It answers from the document
And it tells you which chapter the information comes from. Anything that is not in the text is announced as such, never passed off as coming from it.
It does not flatter you
A misunderstanding is corrected, not approved to please you. The useful truth comes before the pleasant answer.
It spots hidden instructions
If a document tries to give it orders, it does not follow them — and it tells you, once.
It knows where its knowledge ends
Health, law, money: it explains what helps you understand, then points you to a professional.
Who it is for
People short of reading time
Commuting, exercising, cooking: there is time to listen, far less time to read.
Students
A course becomes a summary to listen to, revision cards, a quiz, and a podcast that explains it at the level you need.
Language learners
The bilingual version plays each paragraph in its original language, then translated.
People for whom reading is hard
Eye strain, reading difficulties: the app also works with TalkBack, Android's screen reader.
What you pay
You only pay for what you use, and you know it beforehand.
Every job that calls on the analysis service — reading a document, creating a podcast, preparing revision cards — shows its estimated price, which you accept before it starts. A monthly cap, which you set yourself, prevents any overspending, and every operation is listed in your usage history.
Listen to Vox Livre
Two excerpts, exactly as the app produced them.
A multi-voice audiobook
Two minutes of a short story written for testing: the narrator, Lucas, Marie and their grandfather each have their own voice. The same chapter is then read in English, translated by Vox Livre. The excerpt starts in French.
An on-demand podcast (in French)
The question asked: "Why is the sky blue, and red at sunset?" Vox Livre researched it on the web, chose the tone and the format, then produced this 7 min 47 s episode, citing its sources.
Excerpts produced by Vox Livre on 24 October 2026, with no editing. The podcast content is written by AI from web research: it has not been checked by a human.
Good to know
Your files stay with you
Documents and recordings are kept on your phone. Only the text to analyse or to read aloud is sent to the AI and speech services that process it.
Over 70 languages
Reading and translation cover more than 70 languages. The app itself speaks French, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Arabic and Chinese.
Android 10 or later
Vox Livre runs on Android phones and tablets.
Vox Livre is intended for the private listening of documents you have the right to use. Analyses, translations and podcasts are produced by AI: they may contain errors, and they do not replace the original document.
